STRENGTHS & SKILLS: 

Wiry – Despite having relatively thin arms compared to the rest of his body, Bishop is naturally strong thanks to living in the wild. His tail is, of course, the physically strongest part of him.

Flight – His massive wings are powerful enough to lift his massive body.

Flexible – Bishop’s tail is not only capable of strangling and slamming, but he has just as much control over it as a human has over their hands and fingers, meaning that he can pick up things and complete more complicated tasks with it.

Sensory – His tail is able to pick up tiny vibrations in the ground, likewise his feathers in the air.

WEAKNESSES: 

Milk – It is very deadly to him. Even a single drop and food made from it will make him ill.

Bird brain – His lack of intelligence in certain areas can put him in bad or even dangerous situations (Like flying into a portal and get trapped in a small town).

Trinkets – He cannot resist them.

Children – For some reason he does not harm them. You stop being a child at the age of 10 in his book.

POWERS/WEAPONS:

Main power:

Foul breath – He can spew a black substance from his mouth which consistency can only be described as a mix between tar, bubblegum and spider web. It is not poisonous in any aspect, does not smell or taste of anything, but it is very sticky and tough. It will dissolve by itself after 12 hours, or can be washed off with lots of soap and elbow grease. The glands that produce this substance can hold up to 12 liters, and it takes two weeks for them to go from empty to full. When shrunk, he can only hold 3 liters. The substance will combust if exposed to fire.

Minor powers:

Shrinking – Bishop is able to change his size so that he becomes roughly as small as an adder (see size reference under “extra” for more precision.) Being this small, he still has to eat the same amount of food he had to when normal-sized, so it can quickly turn into an all-day project with that tiny mouth if he stays like that for too long.

Stomach acid – His is so strong that it can break down and digest bones and rotten food without getting sick from the latter. Manmade and naturally poisonous things will also have a lesser effect on him with 20% if consumed. Does not count if directly injected to the blood.

Bishop is that kind of person that would like to see the world burn for his own amusement – though, then there would be no one left to prank, so, then just half of the world can burn instead. He is a complete trickster, easy to make laugh and likes to have fun, especially at the expense of other people.

He is not very intelligent though, and so he can also be tricked, mostly when it comes to trinkets and special, shiny items, as he often over-value things. It infuriates him greatly if he finds out that he has been fooled or offended, and will take his anger out on anything nearby if he cannot find the culprit.

Despite all that, you can win his heart pretty easily with the right gifts or deeds – don’t lose it though, or you will never be able to earn it again.
Friends of Bishop will learn that he is very cuddly, watches over them and will leave gifts for them – mostly useless objects like bent forks, bones, colorful plastic and broken buttons, but sometimes it may also be actual money, other things of value or something that was previously lost.

He is not very familiar with modern manmade objects, so expect him to ask questions and generally be wondering.

Bishop was born terribly long ago, so long that not even he remembers when or how. Not that he really cares. Being a mischievous fae – or whatever he is – he spent a lot of his time making life miserable for humans, especially travelers, whom he would deceive and rob, and farmers whose animals he would eat and harvest he would ruin.

He does not seem to have any country of origin – at least not what he can remember – but he mostly stayed in Europe, sometimes in Britain and a single time in Russia. Some places hated him like the pest, where others gave good first impressions by offering gifts, and so he would leave those people alone.

As time went, the humans advanced, and became harder to mess with without a growing risk. It was literally tedious with their new, cunning methods of compelling, and so he eventually retreated to the supernatural world where he would wait till mankind had blown themselves back to the middleages.

Of course, he quickly wanted to go back and check on how humanity were doing with their self-destruction. At that time, Remus was guarding the most potent portal that led to this little quaint town called Transyre, but Bishop is dexterity itself – if you ask him – and curious to no end so he managed to sneak past and into the portal – to his great misfortune, as he is now trapped.

Well, that was pretty easy, Bishop thought to himself as he passed through the portal to Transyre and immediately took air with a smug expression – probably to some unfortunate bypasser's surprise. But then, only after a couple of minutes.. Was that the town in front of him again? Hm, perhaps his sense of coordination had gone a tad wonky by the passing, so he took no notice of it and flew past it again.

But there it was again again?? What was this horseshit!? Was it really true, that there story about that the portal trapped people. He’d of course not believed a single word of it, that was just dumb, but now it was dumb and true. The fae dropped down on a random roof and sulked as he desperately tried to figure out what was going on, and how he could escape, but failed. It looked like he would have to.. Talk to people…
